Abstract

This master thesis deals with real technical problem which was specified from Continental Corporation. This thesis deals with the deformation and stress state of pressure plate car seating system. The introduction contains a description of types of high-speed testing, material models and explicit algorithm. The main part of the thesis is focused on analysis settings, solution and evaluation of the drop test. The main aim is to find out and evaluate critical regions. In conclusion is description of the analysis evaluation and component improvement proposal. The whole thesis is numerically solved using the finite element method in Ansys Workbench 15.0.
