Abstract
Mechanism of rope multi-layer winding on the drum is composed of 2 parts. This diploma thesis is focused for the mechanism of direct winding, i.e. the part in front of the drum. The problem of roping and storing of the rope on the drum is solved marginally within a necessary required minimum for proper operation of the device. The introduction of the thesis provides a review of the solving problem and a brief comparision of existing solutions being in used. Based on the research, there is design of few possible solutions. After considering suitability of the designs, there is one selected using the Diamond screw mechanism for its function. The main part deals with analytical calculations of the key components. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the design of he device drive. The diploma thesis further contain a 3D model of the whole device including drawing documentation of solved components.
