Abstract

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on animatronics technology. The introductory section presents the definition, history of the technology, its current state and its application across various fields. This is followed by a description of mechanical principles, control methods, design approaches, and materials used in this technology. The third section describes selected additive manufacturing methods, their advantages and disadvantages when applied in animatronics, and a subsequent comparison of these methods. The practical part describes the process of designing, manufacturing and assembling, a simplified animatronic head. This device, produced by additive manufacturing technology, serves as a demonstration of animatronic principles and as practical proof of the application of additive technologies in the field of animatronics.
