Statical analysis of the mechanism of amusement attraction

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with description and analysis of the construction of amusement attraction during its erection/folding. The free body diagram method is introduced as the tool for determination of joint forces. After analysis of the mechanism functionality, the position of the individual main parts is calculated as the function of the position of hydraulic cylinders. The determination of the joint forces in the system is performed using MS Excel for any length of hydraulic cylinders. Also, The MS Excel software is used for the visualization of the amusement attraction for selected lengths of hydraulic cylinders.
