Abstract

KOCIÁN, Matěj. The Design of a Replaceable Garbage Collector Handle Based on 3D Printing. Ostrava, 2023. Bachelor thesis. VSB - Technical University of Ostrava. Thesis supervisor Ing. Jiří Hajnyš, Ph.D. The bachelor's thesis deals with the design and production of replaceable handles for garbage collectors produced by additive technology. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the use of 3D technology, their workflow and the materials that can be used for the technology. Furthermore, a market survey of commercial collector solutions and their use is carried out, thanks to which a unique proposal was created. The practical part is devoted to the production of the collector using the material extrusion method (FDM) for the support structure of the collector and the Stereolithography (SLA) method for the production of the ends for gripping objects. Finally, a technological economic evaluation is presented.
