Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the change of cutting material VBD for the finishing turning of the bearing hole on the bearing shield made of cast iron EN-GJL-200, and is prepared for practical use in the company Siemens, s.r.o., Elektromotory Mohelnice branch plant. The work is divided into two main parts, which are theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the general characteristic of the problem is discussed, which includes the introduction of Siemens AG and Siemens Mohelnice and describes the machined part including the material. It also discusses in more detail the cutting materials dealt with in the thesis. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the actual testing of inserts made of different cutting materials, which are sintered carbide and cubic boron nitride. The practical part includes the design of the experimental activity with a description of the complete testing procedure, describes the tested inserts and the machine on which the testing was performed, presents the results of all the tests performed and finally describes the complete evaluation of the experiment.
