Abstract

The thesis is dealing with production of stockyard crane whose structural steel construction has been solved conceptually in detail as in the case of currently used cranes at the sintering workshop. The first part of the thesis is dealing with the introduction of horizontal grinding machine HCW 2 where the machining of immense parts of the crane took place. The other part of the thesis is dealing with introduction of the stockyard crane. Due to the extensive production of the crane, the technological procedure of fabrication is crucial in relation to machining on the HCW 2 which has been mentioned before. At the end there is a technical evaluation of HCW 2 usage in the firm and evaluation of machining of stockyard crane´s structural steel construction.
