Abstract
The dissertation thesis deals with the use of modern acceleration sensors of the MEMS type for measuring the modal parameter of a vehicle structure and ride comfort in real-time. In this work some types of accelerometers are described and tested. The main part of the thesis is focused at the MEMS sensors with the digital output, which communicate by the CAN bus with the real-time controller of the NI origin. The cRIO unit collects and processes data. The necessary software for this device was also created in the LabView environment. As the final part of the thesis the results of experiments in the field of ride comfort and modal analysis of vehicle frame are described. In both cases the data records during on and off road operation were used for analyzing. The main result of the thesis is an original data acquisition system from vehicle vibrations with communication by the CAN bus. The system uses a universal measurement and evaluation equipment that evaluates signals using standardized ways.
