Abstract

MUSIAL, Dominik. Workpiece Clamping Technology for Robotic Workstations. Ostrava, 2026, Bache-lor’s Thesis. Ostrava: VSB – Technical university of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Machining, Assembly and Engineering Metrology. Department 346. 53 p., Thesis supervisor: Ing. Jan Zelinka, Ph.D. This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of a suitable technology for clamping workpie-ces for a robotic workplace. The introductory part describes the methods of clamping individu-al workpieces on CNC machining centers. The aim of this thesis is to design a technology for clamping circular, square or more complex workpieces, which will be characterized by simplici-ty, lightness, rigidity, affordability or use for various types of workpieces. The thesis also con-tains an evaluation of current clamping technologies in the company, the suitability of their use for a robotic workplace or the creation of a database of clamping systems used in the exchange of workpieces using a robot. The final part summarizes the acquired knowledge and describes the implementation of clamping in practice.
