Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the repair of damaged weld joints at nuclear power plants using composite systems. These epoxy and silicone based technologies are provided by Framatome. The subject of the thesis is the study of current possibilities for repairing welded joints at nuclear power plants, the study of defects that can be repaired in this way. The experimental part includes making repairs, examining samples on which the mentioned technologies were applied. The aim of the thesis is to compare individual samples based on the experiment and evaluate the applicability of repair systems.
