Abstract

This bachelor’s work addresses the stress - strain analysis of the drum of washing machine MB90. The development of a washing machine invention, an introduction to company Primus - the manufacturer of washing machines as well as a comparison of an industrial washing machine with a common one, are described in the preamble to this work. The delivered type of the washing machine drum by Primus, its modifications, modeling of a filling and the material used for the solution are described in the first chapter. The implementation of boundary conditions is described in the second chapter. The transition of a geometric model into the finite element one and the solution of contacts among components are outlined in a separate chapter. The last chapter consists of the stress - strain analysis of the washing machine drum utilizing program ANSYS 13.0, with or without the filling, an introduction to the theory of plasticity and subsequently the solution of the stress - strain analysis considering plasticity.
