Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of increasing the electric power of the biogas station. It deals with the optimization and calculation of the ORC evaporator unit and the assessment of the economic and performance benefits of the ORC power plant for the biogas plant. I made this evaluation, calculation and optimization on a real biogas station, where I designed an evaporator with the help of the computational software, which would be more suitable for the cogeneration unit technology, and then I carried out economical and efficient calculations on the basis of the real measured values accumulated over the years 2014, 2015 and 2016. From these values, I made accurate calculations that related to performance and financial results. I finally evaluated these calculated values and specifically identified the contribution in terms of percentage power and economic increase of ORC power generation.
