Abstract
This submitted thesis describes the formation of NOx emission their impact and measure to reduce NOx production. To reduce NOx emissions from the boiler K3 operated in Olomouc Heat is given suggestion system adjustments afterburner airs OFA. System modifications concern mainly to the use of booster fan, new air ducts and inlet nozzles. The work also includes measurements of gas concentrations of NOx, CO, O2 and temperature field in the combustion chamber of the boiler K3.
