Abstract

This thesis focuses on a model design based on neural networks. The aim is to test and evaluate implemented model over real data with the intention of verifying its effectiveness and ability to perform symbol prediction and subsequent data compression. The thesis describes neural networks and the principles of data compression. Also includes a description of the used technologies and the implementation procedure with experiments and evaluation.
