Abstract

The aim of this work is to design an application in simulation mode for supervisory control of paper production in the technological process of wood pulp processing and on paper machines. Operators will thus be able to control the paper machine in its partial parts on wire, press, drying and end part of the machine. Visualization for the operator's workplace of the newly designed paper machine is required in the dark style and in the chosen visualization environment WinCC Unified, according to the end user's specifications. The work describes the procedure from the original functional specification of the design obtained from the end user to the modified design, in which additional modifications were incorporated taking into account the comments during testing. The whole project is standardized, eg visualization colors according to the IEC 73 standard, codes for the PLC simulator are written according to IEC 61131 and run in the TIA Portal environment and enliven the overall visualization of the application.
