Abstract
Bachelor thesis deals with static analysis of skylight roof. Main goal of the thesis is to create a computational script, which will be used for quick construction design and for price quotation. Created script is tested on specific construction of skylight roof. First part of the thesis deals with supporting structure of skylight roofs. Load cases and their combinations are described in second part of the thesis. Third part of the thesis deals with finite element model created by computational script. Fourth part deals with static analysis of supporting structure and a loss of stability is described in the fifth part of the thesis. Evaluation of designed script and modifications of supporting structure are discussed in the end of the thesis. Whole thesis was assigned by company BESTA TRADE s.r.o. based on needs from their industrial practice and experience and outcomes of the thesis will be used for finding suitable theoretical solutions of skylight roof constructions.
