Abstract

URUBEK, Petr. Mixed-use Building in Zlín. Ostrava, 2026. Bachelor’s thesis. VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Building Construction. Thesis supervisor: Ing. Marek Jašek, Ph.D. The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the preparation of project documentation for a mixeduse building at the level required for construction execution. The proposed building consists of four above-ground floors and combines administrative functions with commercial use on the ground floor, where a café is located. The thesis includes a technical report for the building part, drawing documentation, and the structural design of the building. Furthermore, it contains a thermal technical assessment of selected building structures in accordance with ČSN 73 0540-2 and a structural design of a selected reinforced concrete element. The structural design is based on applicable legal regulations and technical standards. The project documentation is prepared in accordance with the assignment and relevant legislation, in particular Decree No. 131/2024 Coll. on construction documentation [1], as amended by Act No. 283/2024 Coll. (Building Act) [2]. The thesis also includes a thermal assessment of the roof structure according to ČSN 73 0540-2 [3] and a structural analysis of a reinforced concrete beam.
