Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a transport device for unloading lump lime from a storage tank. In the introductory part, I deal with the division of slide closures and their individual parts. In the practical part, I calculated the force to the shutter of the slide shutter. Knowing the value of this force, I calculated the resistance to opening the gate valve and further calculated the force required to open it with the hand control wheel. Subsequently, I checked the selected screws loaded with tensile stress. In the last part, I chose a rotary turnstile feeder, where I had to choose the appropriate drive to dose the transported medium according to the customer's wishes.
