Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of machine vision and its application in specific field in technical practice. The thesis includes introduction to machine vision systems, it describes procedures of image processing and of detecting faults on products. Further are described methods of control of printed circuit boards. Then a specific system for controlling PCBs during environmental testing in laboratory is designed. Used hardware and software tools are described. A scanning system for taking the pictures of printed circuit boards is implemented and also a system for comparing the pictures and detecting faults.
