Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the competitiveness of a seller of used cars and to propose a strategy that will maintain or improve the sellers position. The evaluation within this thesis contains two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part will describe selected theoretical elements of competitiveness, ways to determine the position of a business within a selected market and possibilities to influence competitiveness. The main analysis methods used for the evaluation are PESTLE, SWOT, Porter's analysis of five competing forces and a comparison of selected financial indicators. These methods are applied within the practical part. There is a summary at the end of each analysis, and also within chapter four - Proposals and Recommendations.
