Simulace okružní křižovatky v software Witness

Abstract

The thesis is to create a simulation model roundabouts in Witness simulation software. The thesis is carried out traffic surveys on specific circular intersection and its results are used to build a simulation model. The thesis describes the creation of simulation model in software, Witness and validation of the model created. The aim of thesis is done on a model drawn up by the roundabout in experiments aimed at exploring the influence of the nature of the input stream of vehicles on the average queue length of vehicles and the average delay for waiting. Results obtained by simulations are compared with results of calculations according to the methodology for calculating the capacity of round intersections.
