Abstract

Master thesis deals with the design of a pneumatic piston can filler according to the parameters specified in the thesis entry. In the theoretical section, I deal with categorization of fillers according to their filled substance, and with writing short descriptions of how they work. In the practical section, I had chosen semiautomatic pneumatic piston can filler and then described its functions and properties to the greater detail. I calculated necessary measurements of the filling cylinder and measurements of 3 pneumatic cylinders. Then, I designed the pneumatic circuit diagram and successfully tested out its functionality. I calculated the throughput of the pneumatic circuit and specified all pneumatic components. At last, I designed structure of the whole filling machine.
