Capacity Planning of Production

Abstract

The master thesis deals with the analysis of the existing filtration assembly line and an attempt is made to improve the painting processes by adding a new painting facility by relevant forecasting the present order and to reduce the time consumed for the painting process by building new painting capacity in order to reduce the time losses in the filter assembly process. The utilization of the labor productivity is studied by noting the unnecessary time losses for the assembly workstation done by the worker. These observations and proposal are at the selected company in order to uplift the overall capacity of the filter assembly line.
