Abstract

This thesis deals with a possibility of reducing NOx in fluidized bed boiler K12 Power Engeneering Trinec joint- stock company by the applied amount of primary and secondary air. The first part is devoted to the re-regulation of an amount of air depending on the applied amount of fuel brought into the boiler. The following part has been engaged in finding other options to reduce NOx emissions at its minimum output. The tests performed show clearly that to achieve it the only possible way is by lowering the amount of coal transport air route under the minimum limit set by the boiler manufacturer. For this intervention has been necessary to make adjustments to coal tract, aimed at achieving safe transport of coal to the boiler and the resulting reduction in NOx emissions by 30 mg/m3.
