Abstract

Master thesis deals with the disign of Location of By-Pass Valve for Regulating the Exhaust Flow for Engine Supercharging Turbocharger Road Vehicle. This thesis is designed for Garrett Advancing Motion company located in Brno. The principles of engine operation and supercharging are explained in this thesis. The practical part consists of a CFD simulation of an existing design solution in the ANSYS CFX program, design of new solutions in Autodesk Inventor, CFD simulation of the final design solution and comparison of the created CFD simulations.
