Abstract

This master thesis was created for company Shape Steel a.s. It is focused on evalution of usability of the residual metal sheet originating from the production. The introduction summarizes the theoretical knowledge necessary to understand the assigned issues and also basic information about the company. As the company currently has no system for residual metal sheet processing, an analysis will be performed. Based on the identified shortcomings, appropriate measures will be proposed to optimize the material management. The aim of the thesis should be to find a mechanism for deciding about storage or disposal, more effective records of sheets and storage options proposal.
