Abstract

Bachelor thesis describes the problem of measuring the fuel consumption of motor vehicles. In the first part is present methodology for the metering and subsequent homologation. In the next part is a theory of engines, fuel systems and the effects of combustion engines on the environment. The practical part of the thesis deals with the measurement methodology, the installation of measuring devices to the road vehicle, the measurement and evaluation.
