Abstract

The thesis deals with the design and strength analysis of modular frame of TATRA Vehicles. The aim of the work was to replace TATRA welded frame with a modular frame, by divide TATRA welded frame into two part then connect them by bolts connection. Emphasis was placed on design the connection which consist of reinforcing plates and screws. In the research part of the thesis, the analytical approach for detecting the stress of the bolts and to decide the type and class of the bolt are mentioned. The stress analysis was calculated by the Finite Element Method using Siemens NX-12 software
