Abstract

This master´s thesis deals with an issue of supply logistics in an aircraft maintenance organization according to EASA part 145. The theoretical part describes logistics of an aircraft maintenance organization and also methods that have been suggested to be suitable for a prediction of stock supplies in an aircraft maintenance organization. The function of the suggested methods in an aircraft maintenance organization environment has been verified in the first half of the practical part. The second half of the practical part includes a comparison between predictions calculated by using selected prediction methods and commonly used prediction methods with values measured in a predicted period.
