Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the time coordination of connections in a selected subnetwork of lines of Dopravní podnik Ostrava. A mathematical linear model will be used to solve the network time coordination problem. The input data needed for the mathematical model are based on changes in the network of tram lines prepared with expected effectiveness in the first half of 2024. The aim of the mathematical model is to design a timetable allowing transfer passengers to transfer efficiently at selected subnet transfer hubs. Two mathematical linear models are used for the design of timetables, which differ from each other in terms of optimization criteria. The optimization software Xpress IVE is used to solve mathematical models with variant optimization criteria. Based on the results obtained, the time positions of the Connections of the individual coordinated lines are subsequently calculated and the output of the thesis is a fragment of the timetables of these lines for the selected coordination period.
