Abstract

Annotation of bachelor‘s thesis HALUSKA, R. Water-gate with a Flow Control: bachelor‘s thesis. Ostrava: Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Machine Parts and Mechanism, Supervisor: Hurníková Š.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and calculation of construction of water- gate with a flow control. Water-gates are simple devices whose construction varies according to the environment in which water-gates will be used to and their function. At the beginning of my bachelor thesis I have clear research where I have water-gates divided by their function and by the design of their construction. Then I made my own project of water-gate according to my assignment. Construction of my water-gate with a flow control is designed for the water level up to 1,6 m and the water pressure up to 7832,3 Pa. On the basis of this project I made calculations of strength. At the conclusion of my bachelor thesis there is summary of my project. To complete my bachelor thesis I add drawing of my water-gate, drawing of the welded frame and drawing of the screw.
