Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focusing on the renovation of roller which is used for guide of rod mill. This guide is leading the rod to the rod mill. In history was the roller made from tool steel. In current time is focused on durability which means that the roller must endure more than the original roller. The new roller was made from TiC alloy. The roller which was made from TiC alloy have better makings than original roller from tool steel. The coasts for making of new roller are to high and this is the reason why we applied renovation technology. Renovation is applied until the toleration from drawning is allright. In teoretical part of bachelor thesis will be targeted for kinds of hard machinable materials, methods of hard machining and materials which are used for machining tools Practical part of bachelor thesis will be focused on choosing of materiál for cutting plates and will be selected the kinds of technology of machining. The next point of practical part will be studied the influence of selection materials for cutting plates and technology machining for results of renovation roller. In the next part of bachelor thesis wil be assessed for the technical and economical appreciation and evaluation of renovation roller which is machining by different type of cuting plates.
