Abstract
This thesis deals with Analysis of Steel Tank for Water Storage. The main object of this thesis is making a few procedures which create computational algorithm for quick and correct strength verification of Water Storage construction. First part is focused on analysis of Water Storage loads. Second part describes mathematic formulation of this Water Storage where is used FEM method especially shell elements. Third part is focused on analysis and suggestion of computational algorithm. All procedures that create FEM mesh and construction loads are described in detail. Fourth part is focused on aplication of computational algorithm especially technical solution of Water Storage type EQ2a which was made by Vítkovice Machinery Group. In the last part of the thesis it is described strength verification and own algorithm is compared to commercial software ANSYS Workbench 18.0.
