Abstract
In my thesis I deal with the structural design of a small hobby CNC machine meant for various technologies. I drew three design proposals from them and then I made an optimum choice using value analysis. When designing a machine, I tried to minimize the price through using components from the cheapest type of 3D printer. I subjected the selected ideal option to analysis to set loading forces, while maintaining the predefined technological specifications of the machine. In conclusion, I evaluated the gained results, as well as the calculation and analysis of the financial cost of implementing this hobby CNC machines. I prepared a complete 3D documentation for the implementation and 2D documentation.
