The bachelor thesis is devoted to a parametric comparison of two non-contact measuring devices designed to measure surface roughness. The main objective of the thesis was to compare and evaluate the measured parameters of the sample on the measuring devices Alicona InfiniteFocus G5 and Taylor Hobson Talysurf CCI Lite. The theoretical part deals with the characterization of the basic concepts and parameters of surface roughness, the importance of surface roughness for the industrial sector and selected measurement methods and equipment. The practical part characterizes the selected measuring devices and evaluates their measured results. Finally, the two measuring devices are compared with each other.
