Abstract

Master thesis deals with the thermochemical treatment of selected waste products from municipalities and cities in the Moravian-Silesian region, namely through pyrolysis. This thesis is composed of several chapters. The first part of the thesis focuses on the legislative framework associated with the thermochemical utilization of waste products, the depiction of old environmental burdens in the Moravian-Silesian region, and the description of the incineration and pyrolysis treatment of waste. This section also lists waste materials suitable for pyrolysis. The second part of this master thesis focuses on the description of used laboratory unit and presents the measured results from the examination of influence of type of feedstock and pyrolysis temperature on the individual pyrolysis products. The thesis also includes a design proposal for the feeding part of pyrolysis unit.
