Posouzení výskytu syndromu vyhoření u zaměstnanců stavební společnosti

Abstract

The theoretical part defines the basic concepts, stages, and symptoms of burnout syndrome, including risk factors typical for construction professions. The practical part is based on quantitative research conducted through a questionnaire survey. Data collection involved 57 respondents from the selected company, utilizing the principles of the standardized Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to measure individual dimensions of burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment).

The findings indicate that a significant portion of employees face an increased risk of burnout, particularly in the dimension of emotional exhaustion, where nearly 23% of respondents fall into the high-risk category. Key stressors identified include extreme time pressure (average working hours of 47.65 per week), frequent overtime, and unfavorable physical working conditions, such as dust and noise. The research also revealed a critical perception of the current mental hygiene support provided by the employer, while simultaneously showing a high potential interest among employees in professional counseling services.

In the final part of the thesis, proposals and recommendations are formulated, focusing primarily on systemic changes in work organization, more rigorous monitoring of overtime, and the introduction of educational programs centered on stress management and mental hygiene.
