Storage Costs Analysis, and Reduction in the Selected Company

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the storage costs and transportation costs in the selected company. The introduction deals with the importance of the storage and transportation of the selected company and the general goal of the diploma thesis. The theoretical part contains general characteristics of the problem and basic concepts. Based on the analyses of the storage costs and transportation costs of materials the company will be able to decide whether to invest in a new warehouse or reduce costs by contract with another company. From the analysis proposals are made to the company.

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou skladovacích a přepravních nákladů ve vybrané společnosti. V úvodu je představen význam skladování a přepravy vybrané společnosti a obecný cíl diplomové práce. Teoretická část obsahuje obecnou charakteristiku problému a základní pojmy. Na základě analýz nákladů na skladování a přepravu materiálů se společnost bude moci rozhodnout, zda investovat do nového skladu nebo snížit náklady smlouvou s jinou společností. Z výsledků analýzy byly zpracovány návrhy na optimalizaci nákladů ve společnosti.
