Abstract

Master thesis describes steps that lead to streamline production process of pivots which are components that are located on the front axles of TATRA trucks. They are produced in several technologically similar types and it is therefore possible to use selected sample to display and rationalize the entire flow through the production process. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part describes all the methods, by which can increase efficiency of production process. Practical part deals with the application of each method to said production process. All the changes that were made are then written down and financially evaluated in the last chapter. The conclusion contains an overall calculation of the investments and assessment of the realistic benefits of the proposed steps to the TATRA TRUCKS a.s. company.
