Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to develop and test a modification of Blender, an open source tool, to ensure support for the primary types of stereoscopic projection. There are described used stereoscopic methods and their practical implementation in the application. After adjustment, the stereoscopic scheme can be used for production and modeling directly in the scene. Even though the game engine, an integrated part of Blender, already contains stereoscopic projection support, it is only designed as a way to view complete applications and does not facilitate the use of the stereoscopic scheme in the design of three-dimensional models, scenes or animations. Behind adding of stereoprojection to Blenders features is an effort to expand the existing users possibilities in modeling. At the end of the document is described each practical test of newly developed extension. Also, there are discussed some of the problems, that we encountered in this work, and their solutions.
