Abstract

The thesis deals with the topic of fuel gases and their mixtures in metallurgical industry. Individual fuel gases used in metallurgical industry are introduced here, their composition, and physical and combustion attributes. There are summarized equations which are necessary for determination of the structure of mixed gases and for determination of the attributes of these gases. The relation for determination of the ratio of mixing source gases is written here to create the mixed gas with required Wobby‘s number. Then, a replacement for stock gas is found, and a way to its mixing at mixing station is chosen so that this gas can replace the source of stock gas if needed. A mixing station is proposed for production of this stock gas substitution.
