Abstract
This thesis is focused on the comparison of cuttability of ceramic materials for machining of nickel alloy. The theoretical part describes the current state analysis of machining nickel alloy. For experimental machining and determination of cuttability of ceramic materials was used nickel alloy (Alloy 625 ASM 5666F, W.Nr. 2.4856). It is
a complex iron-based alloy Ni - Cr commonly used for manufacturing components in the chemical, petrochemical and especially the aerospace industry. There were used different types of ceramic materials as a machining tool. Cuttability determination was made through wear measurements on 3 different types of ceramic tools. The main aim was current state analysis of machining nickel alloy and wear determination of ceramic tools, based on the results of the experimental measurements was determined the best tool for machining of the nickel alloys.
