Abstract

Bachalor thesis deals with use of relational databases in MATLAB and it’s Database Toolbox. The main goal of this thesis is to use this toolbox to store data from measurements in automation industry. In theoretical parts there are explained basic information about relational databases and theirs normal form. These facts are used for designing own database, which meets these standarts. Practical part describes implementation of designed database using SQL Server, it’s connection to MATLAB and programming of GUI application. In this application users can sign in and log in. Main function of this application is to transfer data from measurements between MATLAB and database.
