Abstract

This thesis deals with the identification of frequency and directional properties of loudspeakers, including their mathematical models and simulation. In the introduction of this thesis, fundamental characteristics of acoustic spaces and loudspeakers are described. Thesis continues by the suggestion of methods of measurements appropriate for loudspeaker identification, including descriptions of testing signals based on pseudorandom signals of the maximum length sequence (MLS) type. The suggested methods were verified experimentally in the anechoic room at VŠB-TUO. The substantial part of the thesis deals with the design of linear and nonlinear mathematical model of loudspeakers. Both mathematical models were verified by simulation and experimentally. Simulation is in very good accordance with the real loudspeaker in the middle frequency range of the frequency response.
