Ocenění podniku působícího v oblasti IT s využitím výnosových metod

Abstract

The aim of this master’s thesis is to value a selected company using income-based methods, specifically the DCF-Entity and EVA-Entity models, as of April 1, 2023. The theoretical section of the thesis defines the basic concepts and methods applied in the valuation, drawing on professional literature. The practical section characterizes and analyses the selected company using strategic analysis and financial health analysis, and a financial plan is developed based on these analyses. Furthermore, the cost of capital is determined, and a valuation is performed using selected income-based methods. The conclusion of the thesis presents sensitivity and scenario analyses; the scenarios are based on dynamic models that reflect the company’s life cycle, thereby improving the revenue forecast. The valuation revealed that, under certain assumptions, both the DCF-Entity and EVA-Entity methods yield the same results. At the same time, a range was determined within which the resulting value could fall in the event of a sale of the company.
