Master thesis deals with the proposal for the equipment for cooling a human tissue. The thesis is divided into three parts. The introductory theoretical part is a comprehensive look at the contemporary issues in the cooling in the health service and the using of hypothermia in a clinical practice. The practical part is consist of the concrete proposal for equipment that induces hypothermia, with the intention to its design. There is an analysis of specific requirements. The last part focuses on the design, control and optimization calculations, which serve to the correct dimensioning device. As the result of this thesis and research are introduced two projects for the system of cooling a human head that can be used stationary as well as mobile. Their structure is documented in Annex.
