Abstract

The master thesis deals with the issue of increasing accuracy in milling of shaped surfaces. The primary aim of this master thesis is to analyze the accuracy of experimental samples machined by the 3 axis, 3 + 2 and 5 axis milling methods. In the introductory part, the current state of the existing surface machining strategies and the technical analysis of 3 axis and 5 axis milling are mentioned. Followed by part of the machining accuracy analysis for 3-axis and 5-axis milling. The final part deals with the conclusions for implementation in practice.
