Srovnání abrazivního vodního paprsku s abrazivním suspenzním paprskem

Abstract

The presented thesis is based on search activities focusing on abrasive waterjets. The objective of the work is the comparison of the abrasive water jet and the abrasive slurry (suspension) jet. The introductory chapters aim at presenting principles of unconventional technologies and their applications. The following parts of the thesis provide information about the history of the waterjet; in particular, its application for practice. Properties of water together with an analysis of main methods of machining, such as the cutting by means of pure waterjets, abrasive waterjets and abrasive slurry jets, are discussed in the next chapters. In the conclusion, the main differences between the abrasive water jet and the abrasive slurry jet are analysed.
