This master thesis investigates the design of energy savings for a family house. Heat losses of the house, on which the design of the saving measures used in order to lower this losses, are started in the introduction section. Water heating system, based on solar collectors, for the household is introduced as a second point of the thesis. According to calculations the collectors will cover the usage of warm water from April to September. These savings are evaluated both from economical and environmental point of view. In the construction proposal the thesis investigates the design of 600 litres accumulation container, which is heated both from the solar energy and boiler circuits. In the conclusion section the calculations ot the water heating in the accumulation container is done using ANSYS R14 software application.
