Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the control of DC motor by use of programmable controller WinPAC WP-8841 with additional I/O modules. Besides DC motor, the physical model also consists of another DC motor that serves as a brake. The thesis gives the description of functionality of DC motor with a permanent magnet, and identification of the regulated plant by System Identification Toolbox in Matlab environment. PID controller is then design for the regulated plant. The control circuit is made up in REX control system. Visualization of the control process is carried out in Promotic SCADA/HMI environment.
All the components of the physical educational model are integrated on a compact plastic board and will be use by student s of the Department of Measurement and Control. The physical model is connected to the controller's terminals by 9-pin cannon connector.
